AJ
Harvester does make a .50 caliber sabot for .475" bullets, so you can do it. I would start with the standard 100 gr charge and work up to see what it likes. The 325 gr bullet should spin enough to stabilize in that barrel. AJ
Re: Big Game .475 bullet and sabot [ QUOTE ] The 300 gr 44 cal. bullets hold an inch but 100 gr of APP is an awful lite load for a big boar I think. [/ QUOTE ] Your load is perfectly fine for boars. You can stoke it up a bit in the powder department if you feel its too light. The bullet weight is fine. I would use 250 grainers myself. But that's just me. I know what the load will do.
