I will carry other calls, but these will be the ones I try first. As for a locater, I will be using a coyote howler. I carry: 4 slate calls with 3 or 4 extra strikers, 1 gobble call, 4 ro 5 diaphram calls, 1 or 2 box calls, and 2 crow calls (I usually loose one/season) That's about it for calls. You know you gotta leave room in your turkey vest for support gear like insect spray, binocs, chalk, gloves & facemask, water bottle, zip loc bags (to protect some calls for rainy days), ammo, slate call surface prep materials, water proof baseball style hat, extra batteries for my holosight scope, and never enter the turkey woods without some TP. [/ QUOTE ] depends on the bird but the reason I carry so many is because you don't know what will make Mr. Tom come your way especially if he's "hen up" so I like to use alot of different ones.
