Re: How many WHAT???

I was bored last night so I pulled out my bins & dumped them on the carpet.Mrs.Sasksheds was safely @ work.I had them all put away before she got home.Or I would have gotten a VERBAL LASHING!!!! That is 3 years of shed hunting laying on the carpet. We hang all our bigger & unique ones on the corner of the walls & staircase.I have no idea how many are there but for 3000$ U.S. you can find out!

I don't know, but I was wondering about Sask shed hunting. I know there's a lot of big deer there, but how much does your terrain play into finding them. I'm sure all that flat ground helps, right? Do you find most of them in fields or praries, or in think woods?

Yeah Sask, tell us your secrets. Do you find most of them in your think woods, or your non-think woods?

Maybe next time I'm out looking for sheds, I'm going to find a tree or rock or something and I'm going to sit down and think. Maybe then, I'll have better luck at finding sheds. grin.gif

Re: How many WHAT???

Sask. is not as "flat" as you guys think.I have humped some pretty big hills, coulies etc... to find sheds. You find them here in slough bottoms, buckbrush, big bush, fields, grain piles, dugouts.Any where the deer winter & feed.I travel up to 6 hours to look for sheds every weekend.I go out evryday from March till the end of May looking for sheds.Sometimes I walk 10-12 hours a day. That's alot of miles. It's not as easy as we make it look.I figure if I worked @ a career as hard as I do looking for sheds & hunting that I'd be a millionaire by now.lol
