NYBUCK
Ok man did I feel like I was out of my league. I used to go to this bow shop a while back but the owner ticked me off and nobody could stand him so he lost a lot of business. Well, turns out he sold the shop and this nice couple took over and its pretty cool there now. I signed up to shoot this league, I guess its called a 300 shoot. When I got there the place was packed so we have to go upstairs to shoot. There is 6 of us. 5 guys shooting with competition bows long stabalizers and the magnified sights. Then there is me, with my little Mathews outback and my hunting sights. I ended up shooting a 287 with 29 x's. I thought I could have done better, but one of the shooters said that was real good with my set up. I guess not bad for my first ever shoot like this. The main thing is that it was a lot of fun. Now I am just going to try an improve my score each week. Thank god they have two classes, an open an a bowhunter. Hopefully I will be competitive. So tell me guys, is that a good score for my first time and my set up. Be honest, I can take it.
