When I arrived in Wisconsin at the Hamann's over Christmas we exchanged our presents. Martin (Oneida man) got me this awesome hat with two REALLY bright LED's on the front of the peak, he got it at Gander Mountain along with a bobble buck. grin.gif We don't have Gander Mountains in Canada, and I've never saw anything like this up here at all! Has anyone saw these hats? I wanted to pick some more up for my family when Ashley and I went shopping to Duluth, MN for a day, but they were all sold out unfortunately. Anyways here it is, thought it was a pretty cool idea, it sure would work great for tracking a deer after dark, or even just getting from your stand to the truck! cool.gif I'd use it for work, when I'm under a car and both hands are occupied with parts or tools, a hat like this would come in handy... grin.gif I just don't want to get it all full of grease. tongue.gif

Re: Has anyone saw these hats before??

If I'm not mistaken you can buy just the 2 LED's like that as a clip on for the bill of your hat instead of buying the whole hat with them already built in. I think they're called cat eyes or something like that? I'm going to bed now or I'd google it for ya.

Very neat though...! I wish I got paid to sit around and think stuff like that up. grin.gif

I have some Cats Eyes that are very similar. It's got three LED's that you can clip on your bill.

That's what I use I think they're great!!! I did see the GM Mountain hats in the store and they seem to be nice. However you can transfer the Cats Eyes any hat you own. A nice perk.
