VTbowman
Well it looks like my wheeling and dealing has paid off! Found out today that I am the new owner of an Encore 209x50 ML 15" pistol AND a 7mm.08 Bullberry custom 15" barrel, with brake and custom forend. The 7-08 will have a nice 3-9x32 Burris handgun scope on top mounted with 3 Leupold vertical split rings. Thinking of going fiber optics on the ML for now. All for the price of selling a Remington model 700 LSS 300 Ultra Mag. I guess I did well on the 300RUM to afford all that! Can't wait for better weather now to hit that bench of mine. VTbowman
Re: 2 guns for the price of one..~!!~ I scored the ML complete for around $250. Its used but UNFIRED! I guess the original owner had passed away and the family sold it back to the gun shop I use. I bought a $550+ custom Bullberry 7mm.08 barrel with brake and their hanger bar system/forend for $290. The scope was bought with other money... LOL ($500 scope for $290 off Ebay) It was tough to part with the 300 RUM but I do have a back up rifle. Remington 700 30.06 that was my fathers that I put the Leupold VarX III 3.5-10x50 on. (Was on the 300) Got that shooting sub-MOA at 100 yards... The 300 RUM was just to heavy to carry all weekend long. LOL Especially up and down the mountains of VT... Not to mention 30.06 ammo is less then 1/2 the cost of a box of 300 RUM.... hangunnr
Re: 2 guns for the price of one..~!!~ OK, now let's see some pictures. I wish I'd have known you had a 300RUM as trade fodder. We might have been able to work something out. hangunnr

The 300 went fairly quick so I gave it some time hanging behind the counter and a well known gun shop before going online with it. Day after x-mas it sold for enough to get the Encore stuff.
