WaCoyote
Just bought a CZ 75B in 40 S&W. Can't wait to go shooting. http://www.cz-usa.com/01.detail.php?id=29 I'm running out of reasons to by more guns though. Anybody got any ideas that I can use on my wife? I want a poly frame next but can't think of a good excuse to use.
hangunnr
Re: Just bought a new toy! I really like the feel of the CZ guns. I had a Tanfoglio (CZ copy) that I used for USPSA shooting until I moved to 1911s. Let us know how it shoots. [ QUOTE ] I'm running out of reasons to by more guns though. WaCoyote
Re: Just bought a new toy! [ QUOTE ] I had a Tanfoglio ( [/ QUOTE ] I had looked at them but the shops around here never had the one I wanted (10mm) and I've heard luke warm reports about them so I didn't order one. Did you like yours? How did it shoot? Was it reliable? Kind of interested in the hunter model in 10mm for deer but concerned about mixed reports on quality. I think kimber is coming out with a 10mm 1911. That would be one worth looking at. AJ
Re: Just bought a new toy! While I was in the service, stationed in Germany, I was able to purchase the CZ75 handguns for dirt cheap prices. They were blued or the tropical finish (baked on) and were NIB around $200. Looking back on it, I whould have bought a few of them. Oh well. They were all 9mm guns though.
hangunnr
Re: Just bought a new toy! The only complaint I had was the trigger. There were just too many moving parts. It took constant tuning to keep it crisp. My gun would function with just about any ammo. Accuracy was so-so at best. hangunnr
HarvDog
Re: Just bought a new toy! Congrats on the new handgun. I haven't looked at CZ must but I hear they're pretty nice. What made you go with the 40 over the 9mm? In terms of more guns, you need to start buying for "her".

The best would be stopping power if I ever need it. I really wanted a 10 but barely anybody chambers them. [ QUOTE ] How much would one of those bad boys cost today, say in a 9mm model. [/ QUOTE ] Depends on where you go. First off they're not all that easy to find. I've been checking all the local stores for about a year and all of the sudden two stores had them. One wanted $412.00 and the other $475.00. Those were both 40's, I doubt if there's even a difference in price for the 9. Just finished my 5 day wait and I have her in hand. I'll be going shooting as soon as the rains stop.
