toddyboman
I have a match set of shed antlers I found last year. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way or device to use to mount them, without taking them to the taxidermy shop?? I just want to put them on a plaque. Any input would be awesome. Thanks
JPGS22
Re: Can you mount shed antlers?? Yes, you can. I've seen devices on ebay under taxidermy that will work just fine. I don't know the name, but you can do it.
rockefeller66
Re: Can you mount shed antlers?? van dykes has them for sale, all taxidermy stores/websites have them for sale. Some are metal and some actually look like the skull plate of a deer,
Guest ILclimber
Re: Can you mount shed antlers?? Yes, most definitely you can mount shed antlers. Go to www.thunderproductionsonline.com to look at the pic of the matched sheds I found Feb. 26 2003. A massive 8 pt. set. Score 154". It's in the bottom middle of the Picture. Cost me a $100, but man do they look great! Give it a shot you won't regret it.
