Re: 4\'s........5\'s......or 6\'s

I'm a huge fan of #5 shot (lead), it hits harder than #6 and patterns better than #4's.

So with that being said, with the new hevishot now out on the market, I now would go with #6 shot, since it will hit harder than #5 lead and pattern a heck of a lot better too due to the increased number of shot in the shell. Sort of like the best of both worlds!!

Remington Hevyshot #4's each and every time. Great for coyotes, too. Rolls the sneaky little buggers everytime they weasel near my deek flock.

Re: 4\'s........5\'s......or 6\'s

i have a quick question..actually may seem like a dumbquestion but i really don't know a whole lot about this stuff..this is what it says on the michigan DNR website "It is unlawful to use or carry any ammunition except shotgun shells loaded with No. 4 or smaller shot, or to use or carry loose shot larger than No. 4 for muzzleloading hunting."...this is under the General Rules part for turkey hunting....now does that mean i can't use #5 or #6 or are these numbers one of those things where its the total opposite? like the higher number the smaller the shot
