Hillbilly
Re: Which State I would really hate to leave Indiana because I live between two big national forests, we have some of the best deer hunting in Indiana. But I wouldn't mind hunting in Minnesota. I would love to go after a 300 pound buck in below zero weather. Plant my own crops and manage my land like an expert. I would make it a bow only place for adult hunters and let kids come in with a black powder or a rifle.

Guest tyshe17
Re: Which State hmm...the question here is how much land. If I could get just like 100 acres or less anywhere I would go with somewhere in the midwest along a river bottom (that means Montana Milk River I guess) and hunt traveling whitetails during the rut and food patterns before and after. If I could get say 500 plus and run an hunting cabin on it TN all the way. We have the genetics, just gotta get them the age and groceries! wtnhunt
Re: Which State Montana. Around here in this part of TN there are way too many hunters per sq mile. Can kind of see tyshe 17's point on TN, around here with 1000 acres if you had noone else on it, you could have some real monsters.
