rockefeller66
I would think they would have opened but obviously not. That is funny, perhaps they are a little to stiff for a smaller game like whitetail, maybe you have a big game bullet or something, so bullets are harder and heavier and are meant for big game like elk. I really don't know.
Guest RandyWakeman
Re: xpansion on barnes mz\'s [ QUOTE ] Hey guys, I bought some Barnes MZ to try in my omega as was suggested by some of you fella's. The accuracy is awsome off the bench, pretty much 1 ragged hole for 3 shot groups at 50yds. I did recover one of the bullets out of the dirt back stop but it hadn't opened up at all, I've seen pictures of these fully expanded on game but my dirt pile sure didnt open them up. Should I be concerned or not? Like I said the accuracy is great at 50, haven't had the chance to shoot 100+ yet. Thanks, Jeremie [/ QUOTE ] Shoot it into water jugs and you'll see it open beautifully. You want animal body fluid in the nose.
VTbowman
Re: xpansion on barnes mz\'s Are these the all copper bullet? Expands to look just like an open flower? If so, then I have seen a few dug out of animals and they do expand well and have that nice wide open flower petal shape to them.
