huntrman
I'm looking for a nice clay target thrower. I was wondering what one is the best for the money out on the market right now. I have the do all traps competitor and the problem is that it doesn't throw the clay all that far. I want to get something that throws it out there a good ways and maybe one that throws the rabbit type? I saw one at walmart for $100 and was wondering if that was the cheapest one for what I want to do? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks. Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Clay Target Throwers I've got a hand thrower that I bought several years ago. Think it is called a Stickbird. Basically, it's one of those red plastic hand throwers mounted on a fiberglass golf club shaft. I can throw a standard sized clay about 80 yards with it. If you're standing next to the thrower when it's released, you have about 1 - 1.5 seconds to shoulder and fire before it's out of range. Great practice tool for wingshooting! Tominator
Re: Clay Target Throwers I've got the bottom of the line Trius. It's been a good thrower for years.
johnf
Re: Clay Target Throwers I've got a $30 springloaded thrower from wal-mart. It's ok, enogh for someone not real serious about it, but probibly not for someone who wants a real challange.
