The most expensive .22 lr guns are single shots. That makes the shooter make the first shot count. Not rely on a bunch of bullets to get the job done correctly. Mine shot decent, I just wanted a gun that I could customize easier. Hence the 10/22. But for a factory gun, the Marlin is a good choice.
