WaCoyote
Re: .260 rem It is awesome! Bought one for my daughter and now I want one. The ballistics are pretty impressive, that 6.5mm is a real killer. She took her first deer with it and the wound channel was ....impressive. I'd highly recommend it coupled with a light rifle. The older I get the better it sounds. That thing would handle deer, pigs, and even bear. Especially with premium bullets. The lack of loads to choose from may be a problem though. I roll my own with 125 grn. nosler partitions. Really great for deer and very fun to mess around with too.
Guest MIhillbilly
Re: .260 rem I really wanted to buy my wife a .260 for deer, but the rifle I wanted to get didn't come chambered in the .260. I ended up with a 7mm-08 which is also nice, but the .260 would have been my first choice.
JPGS22
Re: .260 rem I've hunted will a .260 rem model seven for about 4 years now and love the guy. It really knocks them down.
