I met her at my old job, granted she was only 17 working part time there, I waited till she was 18 to ask her out, dated for about 4 to 5 years while we both attended college, then married her. Showered up, he called her and her friend. The rest is history. Just a little side note. We were engaged 2 weeks later. 24 years married this fall. Who said it wouldn't last. I was pulling into my driveway after a good deer hunt, I had a blacktail buck in the back and was trying to get to our back yard but we had a new girl move in next door and her car was dead in the middle of the drive. She came out to talk to me and felt bad about blocking the drive but told her no problem I would take the deer to my uncles place and skin it there. One year later we were married! I met her at the bank, she was a bank teller at the time and we flirted abit that day, things took off from there. Nine years after we 'knew who each other were' I was at the athletic club working out and was evesdropping on a converstion she was having with a friend. She had just finished hiking the Colorado Trail from Denver to Durango and I blurted out that I had always wanted to do that. Not realy my other yet, but I met her almost ten years ago, I thought she was out of my league and never asked. She moved away got married and divorced. I ran into her on new years eve, told her about my crush and got the best new years kiss ever. We have become great friends, and make it a point to see or talk to eachother every day. I went into a place for a job interview and she was the sectretary.I gave her a wink and she smiled back.I got the job and after talking with her a few times we went out and had a few beers.Our first real date was to a Blues hockey game.These last 5 years we been married have sure flown by. She was sitting in the seat in front of me. We ended up dating each others best friends for several years in High School, then when we graduated, we lost contact. Fast forward ten years and we bumped into each other while floating the Illinois River here in Oklahoma. Small world huh! We went out the next weekend with a group of friends for her birthday, and as they say, the rest is history. Needless to say, that was the best float trip I've ever been on. One day a new girl, fresh from the nearby barrio, served my food. As it turned out, I was her very first customer. She was without a doubt, the prettiest woman I had ever seen in my life. After eating, and as I was leaving, she ran after me to return money I had left on the table. She was so new to being a waitress she did not know that the money I had left behind was her tip. She lived about 3 towns over from me. We dated until we got engaged right before I went to Boot Camp in 93. We got married shortly after that.
