Strut10
Try a Comp-N-choke XXX-Full and some 3 1/2" Winchester Supreme HV #6 shot. If you've got an extra $20 laying around, try the Winchester X-Tended Range 3 1/2" in #6 shot, too. The Comp-N-Choke tube is ported and it may reduce actual recoil somewhat........but I doubt you will notice the difference. The patterns you get, however, I do think you will be pleased with. borch
Re: Browning BPS / choke/ shot question. Sounds like your speaking from experience there Strut. If I remember correctly yours puts quite a knot in a turkeys head.

But the above mentioned combo has improved every gun I ever tried it in by leaps and bounds. Not saying there's not a better combo for individual guns. Just that this one will make a vast difference on any stock scattergun. And, yes......my BPS 10 ga. will peck quite a knot on a turkey's head!!! BTW..... I shoot a XXX-Full Comp-N-Choke and Winchester Supreme HV #6's through it, too!!

[/ QUOTE ] Yep! I did and that Comp-N-Choke won the battle of the CHOKES last year from my 835 Ulti-Mag! I tried three different chokes, C-N-C was the best! I use also the Winchester Supreme's HV 3.5" #6. 49 hits in the head at 40 yards! http://www.comp-n-choke.com/
WaCoyote
Re: Browning BPS / choke/ shot question. I shoot the BPS and I ordered the comp-n-choke today. I'll let you know if it does the trick.
