smallmunster Posted January 20, 2006 Report Share Posted January 20, 2006 Our pheasant season ended on the 10th and while it wasn't the typical cold and snowy last day we did pretty good. I actually had two birds in the last week with spurs right at 5/8", my longest that I can remember. We had an excellent season with lots of birds, if the weather holds and we get a fairly dry spring there should be a bunch around next year as well. We'll run up to four dogs at once although that can get a little crazy. I prefer to run one or two, but sometimes I have to run more.
