IllinoisArcher
Since it is illegal to feed deer in IL what do you put out to keep them there durin the offseason?
Guest ILclimber
Re: ILLINOIS feeding Alot of parts in IL have great food sources such as standing corn or beans. Even mowing a patch of corn with a bushhog to split it up is a good technique. Usually I let the crops do the off season feeding. An occasional food plot will also help you keep deer on your property.
rockefeller66
Re: ILLINOIS feeding you can't feed them at all? Here in IA you can just as long as you don't hunt around it, you could put out a food plot, I don't think that would be against the law
need2hunt
Re: ILLINOIS feeding They chaged the laws concerning feeding deer when CWD was found here in IL. Used to be it was legal as long as it was removed 10 days prior to hunting, now it's no feeding anytime.
Guest 2500HD
Re: ILLINOIS feeding So right now I can no longer dump a bucket of corn in front of a trail cam? Didn't know this so i am glad i didn't get the bucket out there this past weekend. Thats all i need is a dated picture with feed in it! So does this include special food plots and what not?
