wtnhunt
Have never had a burris scope, but have a nikon buckmaster on the wifes .243, and she is pretty happy with the brightness and clarity of it. Is one of these brighter or clearer than the other or are they about the same. Both in 3-9X40, I can get the burris for $30 more than the nikon scope, the burris scope comes with a pair of 8x32 landmark binos. Seems like the burris is a better deal. AJ
Re: nikon buckmaster or burris fullfield II They are pretty even in quality. I have a few Nikons but not the Buckmaster, and I do have one of the Burris FFII scopes. They are both decent quality scopes that should serve you well. Brightness should be similar. I have not had any problem using them well past legal shooting time.

huntinsonovagun
Re: nikon buckmaster or burris fullfield II You can find those FFII's cheaper if you shop around online. Around Christmas I found one for $150.
too_pointer
Re: nikon buckmaster or burris fullfield II If Burris need to add on binos to sell, I would go with the Nikons Oh ya, I have 5 Nikons, so I might just be a little bias LOL too_
ousoonerfan22
Re: nikon buckmaster or burris fullfield II I have the buckmaster on my .270 and after looking through a ffII at bass pro I think it might be clearer than the nikon. Look at the new ffII's on ebay I think they're cheaper on there than cabela's and bass pro.
