popgun
Re: Jennings 9mm My book only shows the Jennings in 4 models. The J-22, J-25, J-38, and J-48. Calibers listed are .22LR,.25ACP,32ACP, .380ACP. They aren't high dollar handguns and run between $40. and $75. I don't have a 9mm listed at all. ....popgun

Addct2hntng
Re: Jennings 9mm popgun i was able to find this on the jennings 9mm Jennings Model Nine Semi-Auto Pistol in 9mm with Nickel finish. Jennings is currently owned by Bryco Arms which took over the company a few years ago. The model 9 was introduced in 1997 and sells for around $ 135.00 retail. As far as value goes on them they are around $120.00 for one in mint / unfired condition. They have no real value or collector appeal but are an inexpensive home defense gun. The problem in the past with the Jennings guns was the cost of replacement parts was almost as high as the gun itself. I have not shot one of the newer models but hope they have improved as far as reliability and feeding problems.
popgun
Re: Jennings 9mm I really need to get a newer edition. My book says that only two models, the J-22 and the J-25 are still in production. I need a new book. ....popgun
Hoosierbuck
Re: Jennings 9mm IMO-I wouldn't take $200 to own that thing. They are not very good pistols. Save up another hundred and buy a used Ruger 9mm. Just as ugly but a LOT more reliable and more safe to operate. HB
Strut10
Re: Jennings 9mm I think you will soon be disapppointed in the Jennings at any price. Poor quality, cheap materials, poor reliability. I would not want to stake my life on one in a gunfight.
