Guest deerhntnwithdogs
Re: Horrible Teacher [ QUOTE ] Hey bud, guess what...Pranks aren't pranks anymore. Theres laws and stuff now. The government doesn't fool around. I am your age, I just graduated last year and guess what. Me and my buds decided to prank around and wake some people up early in the morning hours with soda pop bombs.....totally harmless, just LOUD. Well guess what, I ended up arrested in my high school principals office and almost got 6 felonies put on my record because of my "JOKE". Now if you wanna be ignorant and get revenge on your teacher, be my guest. I'll be here going I told ya so with the rest of the folks here when you make a post on how you ended up in trouble. And by the way, you better make dang sure that you get your diploma in your hand when you walk across that stage......IF THEY LET YOU WALK ( you might not, if you get in trouble ), becuase where I graduated, your diploma is mailed to you after all your debts are paid in full to the school....you just get the COVER when you graduate. But like I said, be my gues, go be a kid, enjoy your last few months of highschool, I just hope you don't end up in THE BIG MANS WORLD like I did with handcuffs on your wrist!!!!! Ask anyone that was here when I went through that, I was scared to death! [/ QUOTE ] I just said I wouldnt play the prank read the post man. Fact is he just shot himself in the foot because the school board has found out about everything that goes on in his class because some kid in the class was talking about a Colombine so now EVERYBODY is on his back. I dont even care about it anymore. Ive gotten to the point were all I do now is laugh at how stupid he is and joke him and thats how I get my laughs. I still have arguments with him of course but I havent lost one yet. haha. So he did himself in and im gonna sit back and relax and watch him make a fool of himself haha its pretty funny. Im still gonna play my pranks on my other teachers and they are some good ones but I am friends with all of them. And as for knowing about getting arrested ive been there with law enforcement and I know its no fun. Never actually been cuffed but came close what for you ask? Throwing a penny out of a bus window. Did you know its a felony even if you threw it in the woods? Guess what? It is! I was only 12 years old and they were trying to expel me and everything I didnt even know there was anything wrong. Its not like I threw it into traffic it was the entire other side of the bus. The cops wanted to charge me but luckily my mom talked the principal out of it. And no im not a steelers fan although I was VERY happy they won. Im a skins fan... THATS why im a nutcase lol.
Nick
Re: Horrible Teacher Just some food for thought about pranks. When I graduated high school in the spring of 2004, I hired into a GOOD paying job with benefits. Most everybody at work gets along and jokes around with each other and once in awhile will play a "harmless" prank on somebody. It usually ends in a big laugh. Well a couple weeks ago, I was chatting with a guy in the department next to mine. In his department they run long strips of steel through a melted babbitt pool to put a layer of babbitt on the strip to be made into parts. Before the strip enters the babbitt pool, it goes through a station which uses flames to head the strip up. To light the station, you turn on your gas and have to bend over and reach underneath the station with a torch to light the flames. Well as I was standing there, the guy went to light the heat station and right when the flame kicked on, an entire package of firecrackers exploded in his face. Luckily, he didnt get harmed.......but the supervisor heard them go off and was there in seconds. We explainedwhat happened and he looked underneath the heating station to find where somebody had taped the firecrackers where the flame comes out. We knew it had to have been somebody on 1st or 2nd shift. At 6am as shift was winding down the plant manager, the 1st and 3rd shift supervisors and 2 cops came wlaking down the isle. The 3rd shift supervisor showed them the exploded firecrackers. The next thing we know, the 5 of them start breaking into all the lockers and tool boxes. Well they eventually found more firecrackers in a 1st shifters locker. The cops took him and he is now facing charges for 5 or 6 different things. Not only that but the guy is divorced and living by himself in a brand new house he build only 3 years ago and has 3 kids to pay child support on.........And with 24 years seniority at work, he was TERMINATED!! All over playing a childish prank with a package of firecrackers. As harmless as a prank may be to you....to somebody else who has more authority, they might not look at it the same way and it could be disaterous for you........Think before you act and watch your back because i will gaurantee you nobody else is watching it for you........................... Guest deerhntnwithdogs
Re: Horrible Teacher There is a fine line between funny and dangerous. That is absolutely dangerous and irresponsible. Mine (since I know he isnt lactose-intolerant) wouldnt hurt anything but his pride. I will not do it though as he has gotten himself in enough trouble already being as irresposible of a teacher as he has been that is punishment enough. I will still express my feelings for him at the end but in a gentle manly manner without cussing or threatening (which I knew not to do in the first place) but I will not put the cheese in his chair, I will however leave the milk bottle in his fridge... but thats just because im to afraid to take it out, it might bite me haha. The_Kat
Re: Horrible Teacher Im glad to read your last post deerhntn. Shows me your more mature than I first took you for. If you wanna know the truth, you remind me alot of myself a year or two ago. I had a chip on my shoulder somewhat growin up and I told plenty of adults where they could stick their thoughts and opinions. Did I think I was right...absolutely, I still do in some cases, but some I regret. Plus other adults hear about your actions and pretty soon you get a silent reputation as a hot head or a disrespectable punk. I hope you don't think I am totally against you in anyway, I just see alot of myself in you, and I don't want to see you make some similar mistakes that I now regret. Heres another story for you to consider before you have more words with your teacher. On MY VERY LAST DAY of highschool, my math teacher who I had problems with all year snapped at me for having a pop in her classroom which I was finishing as I walked in the door and was about the throw away. Well I told her to chill out, and get off my back. And she said something back, and I told her basically to kiss my butt and that I didn't care what she had to say blah blah blah. We didn't speak for the rest of the year until the other night at a basketball game when she came up and asked me how college was, and was as sweet as could be. She was totally nice and even offered to help me when I was home on my college algebra one on one. Talk about making me feel like a complete jerk. She acted as if nothing happened, yet I distinctly remember the lack of respect I gave her that day. I did so cause I was a BIG SHOT, A Senior who wasn't coming back, so what could she do. Well I regret that day and I think you may regret it too if you do the same. I am done giving my advice though bud. Your a big guy and are capable of making your own decisions. Good luck bud. Guest deerhntnwithdogs
Re: Horrible Teacher I understand and appreciate that advice but the thing is I have no respect for him or desire to talk to him out of school. Not downplaying your situation or anything but there are plenty of teachers I have had that happen with (your situation with just disagreements) but, when a teacher not only endangers mine and friends of mines well beings, and disrespects me by telling confidential information to another student like he did, and talks to me the way he does when I prove him wrong ( and I have always been polite when I prove something to him because that is the time that I can stay calm because I actually know what I am talking about instead of being frustrated because he wont teach me something I need to know) I just have no willing to ever talk to him again. My mother said not to burn my bridges but I have many bridges in this industry already that have a lot more pull than this nut. I will be respectful and just give him my opinion without cussing or anything but I still will tell him how I feel.
BowJoe
Re: Horrible Teacher If you he endangered your friends life and you didn't report it, then you are just as guilty. That is not funny or a joke and shouldn't be used as blackmail. Your friend almost lost his life because of negligence. If you are telling the truth, then by all means report it. If it wasn't as bad as you thought, them remember that having your name brought up is not in itself a bad thing, but having it brought up repeatedly just gives people more chances to form a bad oppinion of you. Keep it civil and that will make the memories of you much more appealing to those you will remember the rest of your life. And a manly manner of talking is not by saying what's on your mind. Often, it's by not saying what's on your mind that makes you a man.
Guest deerhntnwithdogs
Re: Horrible Teacher No that I do not agree with you Joe it is absolutely not healthy to keep thing bottled up inside and im not tryin to sound like some quack phsycyatrist here but its the truth. There are just some things that you need to get off of your chest. I dont make a habit of things like this but Im not going to go through my life letting people push me around and disrespect me. Especially people that I am supposed to trust. There were no charges pressed because our principal said that Greg couldnt prove anything even though we had 2 eyewitnesses (Me and another kid) and said we needed to "Stop making things up and be more responsible" This is the same (black) (and in no way am I rascist some of my best fishing and hunting buddies are black) principal that gave a girl 3 days OSS after a black girl called her kracker and then got in her face, Jae didnt even stand up she just said "Im not in the mood today ok?!" and she got 3 days and the other girl got nothing untill her mom went up there and made them pull the tape off of the camera and view it with her and it happened exactly how I described. Trust me Im not trying to make this place sound horrible its my future career and Im defienetly going to stay there, but , affter the trouble ive had im speaking my mind thats the LEAST I can do. The rest of the teachers with the exception of one are great people whom I would love to have as a teacher anyday but the Principal and Myteacher are morons who have been in trouble before and I honestly dont know why they are still in the Ches. Public Schools System. Its rediculous. Like I said im not exaggerating things those are the only 2 people I have problems with and it doesnt happen that often anymore anyway. I just sit back and let him start his own fights with me now. He started one yesterday because he thought i had a question when I was stretching and yelled at me for making him think I had a question. Hes crazy. Anyway fact is this is my last year and then Ill be at TCC and working with a buddy in the industry in July. We get our Liscence study books at the end of Feb. and take the test when we come back from spring break so. Yea I take it through Vocational tech Mick. Its pretty cool they let us go to that school instead of regular for 2 blocks and then we got back (I go back for one block and leave everybody else has 2 except a few other people) its really neat bc we get our liscences through the school and only pay 45 bucks and we get 40 of it back if we pass were as if we took it out of school It would be 145 and we wouldnt get any of it back. As for being and engineer, no they actually have another class that teaches engineering in the school. They have a lotta different things, my buddies in Welding and theres auto body and auto tech and Cosmotology its just a center to teach kids about pop. careers.
