Guest jereseyhunter101
I was wondering what shotgun you guys think is a good one for buckshot? Im looking for one that has 3 1/2 inch load capacity that has a great pattern at 30 yards.
AJ
Re: shotgun I use my 11-87 Super Mag for buckshot. I also use the Nitro 2" extended choke. It throws a very do-able pattern to 40 yards. The gas operated semi auto action reduces recoil of the big boomers which is always nice. johnf
Re: shotgun Benelli Nova I'm 5'6" and 180 and it's not too heavy hitting for me with a limbsaver on it. Not for a sissy boy though.

AJ
Re: shotgun If you are serious about using buckshot for deer, check out Nitro Company's buckshot recommendations. They also have a "what to expect" with their ammo and recommended choke. Scroll down to the 12 ga.
