WVreddot870
How old does a non res youth have to be to gun hunt bear in Quebec? From what I could find out it looks like they have to be older than 17 to hunt by themselves.
MossySNPR
Re: non-res youth Quebec Thats true reddot, last year we went to quebec in Laniel, stayed at the Chalet Diane with a good buddy of ours named Ralph. We went for a week of moose and the day we left I had just turned 18, so I was legal. I think 17 is okay, to tell you the truth, I wouldn't worry about it too much, I think its legal but double check.
WVreddot870
Re: non-res youth Quebec Thanks, we 're going to Ontario in Aug. After reading the regs. it looks like they can hunt by themselves at 16 but cannot bring a gun in thier name until they're 18. I think they can fill out a form to borrow a gun--I'll have to call and find out.
