AJ
Re: Which shoots better? The one that shoots tighter groups is the one that shoots better. Who knows? Each gun is different. The .17 HMR is an accurate little round. I was playing with my CZ 452 Varmint this weekend. I put a Tasco 3-12x40 scope on it and it and once I fed it the ammo it liked, it shot a 4 round group at 100 yards that is about 1/2". Other types of ammo like the TNT and XTP do not shoot that well in my gun. It does like the Federal 17 gr V-Max. Here is my previous thread on the CZ452. tallone
Re: Which shoots better? The guns I list are going to be my only choice thats why I was wondering. I know some guns are known not to be the best of shooters. I've never owned a savage or marlin so I was looking for some input before I buy. Guest Colorado Bob
Re: Which shoots better? I bought the Savage. Nice gun & accurate. Savage have a reputation for being shooters, they are just a little bit ugly---IMO.
