rockefeller66
.....but how do muzzleloading shotguns work? I mean you do the same thing when it comes to putting the powder in first but then do you have to put a wad in? and how do you get the BBs to not spill out? how do you load the BBs? Just new to all this and hadn't really thought about it til now!
magnatecsteve
Re: This is probably a stupid question........ The way I do it, not to say that it is totally correct....Powder,card(thin cardboard disk), felt coushion wad (thick), then shot..usually shoot equal volume of powder to shot ratio, then another cardboard disk on top just to hold pellets in the barrel. Sometimes I use a paper cartridge for the shot. It's like a penny roll full of pellets with the top end open.

AJ
Re: This is probably a stupid question........ Yep, you can buy wads, over shot cards, wads, etc for ML shotgunning. I used to know a group of guys that had BP double guns and they would shoot skeet with them. You shot your two shots and moved back to reload while the next guy was shooting. It was the first time skeet shooting was actually interesting.
