EKYhunter
First off, welcome to the forum! What type of muzzle loader are you using? Not knowing the answer I'd tell you that all weaver rings fit weaver bases. Weaver rings have the screws on the side which allows the ring to "Lay" over the scope tube instead of going straight down on the tube...i.e screws on the top. Look at bass pro. They have a large selection of rings and bases for muzzle loaders. Wal-Mart used to carry them as well. If you're shooting an Encore the Talley one piece rings and bases are top notch and rock solid. Hope this helps and again welcome!
tedicast
Re: Camo Scope rings ? Hunting Nut...I'm using the camo T/C Maxima rings on my Encore. 12 gauge slug gun. It has substatially more recoil them my 209x50 Encore. I have had no trouble at all with the Maximas. I was actually pretty impressed with the way they were built. I am not a fan of Weaver style base and rings. I use Leupold bases and rings exclusively, but the 12 gauge Encore slug barrel's needs a special base, and it is a weaver style. LETMGROW
Re: Camo Scope rings ? I had a thought and tried something. I've had a can of Krylon Camoflage paint around for a couple years. I blasted a couple pieces of metal just to see how it worked. It looked real good. Just a thought. If you cant find exactly what you want, make it. Buy a set of matte rings, use a little scotch brite on them to rough them up and paint them yourself. Not happy the first time? Sand them down and try again. Nothing like do it yourself!!!LOL Good luck!
