buckee
Re: BYE BYE..... Yeah, now you have the right to complain It wasn't exactly the land-slide victory I was hoping for, but it's nice to see the Liberals out of absolute power for a change. One of Paul Martins arguments just before the election was that the conservatives wanted to take the country backward in time ..........YEAH...SO...What's the problem Paul We need to take a few steps backward and correct a few things the Liberals have done, before we can ever move forward in this country. Paul Martin sure is one arrogant man
sasksheds
Re: BYE BYE..... Canadian_Goose
Re: BYE BYE..... Do you think they could possible swing the bloc to get rid of the gun registry... because right now i believe harper is at a shortage of allies. I hope he can get something done in office before there is a vote of non- confidence.

Shaun_300
Re: BYE BYE..... Yep, I'm 19, I had the opportunity to vote last year, but never bothered. I definetly did this year because I didn't want the liberals to even THINK about that gun law. The Conservatives got my vote, and I'm glad they won! puffy
Re: BYE BYE..... I too followed the Cons in hopes that things will get ironed out with the gun laws. Lets hope they have a plan and can execute it without any more failed promises. I am way past the trust end of things in the political arena. doughboy1956
Re: BYE BYE..... Hope it all ends. Will need a 1/2 ton truck just to carry all the cards for guns and hunting.
fisherguy
Re: BYE BYE..... I don't know if he will get enough backing to scrap the registry, but as mentioned, in the next budget he can simply forget to fund it.
Guest BCBOY
Re: BYE BYE..... Being a 2 Billion Dollar Debacle, I don't think it'll be too hard to get allies in the House to get rid of it. During the 1st english debate even the Bloc came out swinging about that cost. All they would have to do is not fund it in the new budget and let it die of starvation.
Canadian_Goose
Re: BYE BYE..... but if its not funded all that dies is the program... not the legislation.
Guest BCBOY
Re: BYE BYE..... They got Stockwell on the job. Glad to see they put a Redneck in charge of axeing the program. Ol' Stock says it'll be his 1st priority.
