AdvantageTimberLou
What is a general ball park price for a full mount strutting turkey? What is a general ball park price for a full mount roosting turkey? Just curious as around here a guy does them for $500.00. Good work but is that average rate. I don't know taxidermy prices. Thanks in advance for ball park prices!
huntn4bucks
Re: Full mounts for Turkeys (price) One guy around here charges $650 for a turkey mount...regardless of the pose. He is quite a bit higher than other taxidermists in the area but he is a National and World Champion. You get what you pay for. IMO. EKYhunter
Re: Full mounts for Turkeys (price) I paid $575.00 for the last mount I had done in 2003. One guy in Lexington, KY charges around $700.00 but his work is awesome and he has won the NWTF Turkey contest several times. You certainly do not want to go cheap on any mount and especially on a turkey. I seen some pretty bad mounts and the owners were certainly not pleased with what they got in return for a cheaper price.
