Re: I shot 5 spot last night

shooting spot targets guys will make you concentrate on shooting form and execution. dont panic if your not shooting well. it takes time. learning to let the pin float is tough and takes work.

its all about just relaxing , let the pin float and squeezing the release off or letting the shot happen.

which ever works best for you.

once oyu have been shooting spots for a while , then if you want to get into the other areas of spot shooting , theres few of us here that can help you along.

however i recommend that if your just a hunter to use your hunting gear to shoot spots. the infoamtion you gain and the practice will definately help you when the big one comes by.

Just started my first ever this year. You are right it is addictive and frustrating. Alot like golf. ha ha

[/ QUOTE ]same here, this is my 3rd week shooting compitition indoor and it does get frustrating, especially when I'm still trying to work the bugs out of my bow.

i would think a Tm hunter type of launcher would be ok. a Lizard tongue would be even better. also a trophy taker would be good. if its setup right it will be out of the way before the feathers get there. while i shoot a release , i do shoot 5 feathers on my Indoor target arrows and a Trophy taker rest.

are the feathers fletched with any Helical to them ?
