waterfowler_gal
How many people are going snow goose hunting? If so do you hunt over full-body or windsocks or sillouettes? Do you hunt water or fields? What state and how many snows can you take in a day? I am hunting SoDak this year. 20 birds a day and we are doing a mix of full bodies and windsocks.. Good luck Here is a taste of some I saw in Missouri early January...

clayman
Re: LET IT SNOW someday... Spring is the worst time to get away from the office for me, and with the spring migration you have to be ready at a moment's notice. It has never worked out yet for me to be able to get in on the spring action. Whack a pile of 'em!
Covehnter
Re: LET IT SNOW Wish i could get a trip up there to pound some spring snows! Seems like it'd be a ton of fun!
Guest Iambenelliguy
Re: LET IT SNOW We hunt a pond inbetween Mound City and the rain water basin. The geese either go from Sqaw Creek to the rain water basin or they go to Riverton. Were right in the middle. We use full bodies, shells, and northwinds along with a bunch of floaters (This is the key to hunting snows) I don't think we will field hunt at all this year, the geese work well on the pond.
