VTbowman
I am going short barrel for here on out. 15" Encore custom 7mm08 Bullberry barrel with brake and hanger bar forend. 3-9x32 Burris on top. Plans to get a custom set of grip and forend from OleGeorgiaJims.com He makes a super looking laminate set! (I plan on Green/Black lams) To cover the ML season I am sporting the 209x50 Encore 15" barrel with a scope on the way. (ok sometime this summer) I posted more pics in the handgun room but thought I would share with the other deer hunters...

Keep checking your local walmart. This time last year I picked up 4 boxes of Winchester 7mm-08, 140 grain, for $5/box on clearance. I don't even own an '08!!...LOL Couldn't pass up that deal, as it is one of the calibers on my want list.
VTbowman
Re: My Rifle and ML replacement. Unfortunately I am limited to Federal ammo. The previous owner of the barrel tested ALL factory ammo before reloading for it and told me its like the feds best. Since I am not set up for reloading I will taking his advice on that. Thanks for the heads up though...
