Guest adamc
I have a bow that i'm setting up to shoot 3-d with and i noticed most indoor/3-d bows have very long stabilizers. Why?? Does it help with balance?? Thanks for any help! Adam

Tony
Re: stabilizer??? it really depends on what class your shooting also. the long stabilizers are for the Open or Freestyle class. they do help you hold stready , but can be a pain if your trying ot shoot in the wind. another thing they do is allow you to pu the stabilizer on the ground when your at rest. it helps to rest the muscles in your bow arm. if you tell us what class you want to shoot for 3D i might be able to give you the run down on what gear you need. they can also be used to whack a buddy if hes out of line!
