rockefeller66
Re: Post Season Blues? With being in college I have little to no time to think about hunting! Usually this time of year I slip into a deep depresion but with college there is SO much other stuff going on but trust me I can't WAIT to find some sheds! HarvDog
Re: Post Season Blues? I've definitely got the blue since I didn't harvest anything this season. I did just find out though that Virginia's Urban Hunting Season is still open until mid-March or so. I've gotta find someone you has land in one of these urban counties. unioncountyslayer
Re: Post Season Blues? Well luckily I hold the same passion for fishing as I do hunting, so I really don't have an outdoors layoff. But I understand your dilema. My Dad lives and breaths deer hunting, so Jan-Sept. 1st is rough!
Hillbilly
Re: Post Season Blues? I killed only 2 does, but I was going after a monster buck on my parents land, but it never happened. Hopefully I can find his shed antlers.....
okbowman
Re: Post Season Blues? I'm passing the time checking my trailcam, finding out what kind of bucks made it throught the season. I got a pic of a nice 8-point the other day. Other than that I'm staying pretty busy with work.
Guest Mathews4
Re: Post Season Blues? theres that empty feelin you have that goes away for a short time in spring but comes back and doesnt leave again until fall.....i believe its called off season depression. It can only be treated with four wheelin, fishin, and gettin stuff for next season. so please ask your local sporting goods associate for anything else....lol
Squirrelhunter91
Re: Post Season Blues? Yep. Watching the deer out my window now makes me crave venison. But then I just go to the freezer and rethink things.. But I could always go on a nuisence permit hunt we have permission for.

Guest tyshe17
Re: Post Season Blues? I have them, but this year I am shooting 3ds right now, the crappie and turkey season will help pass the time. SO, overall this is one of my lighter years as far as getting the blues! Orion_70
Re: Post Season Blues? I've got them.. Was a bad season for me anyway. First year in 20 yrs I didn't shoot a deer. I had a couple opportunities, but passed them up. It was great getting out there though and to me that's what really counts. I'll go back home in another month and start looking for sheds. But now, I'll start getting ready for fishing season
