You need to burn a few flats of ammo up to break it in and be sure it performs to your liking. Why is this a bad thing only being a 3" gun? With today's technology of shotshells, the 3" will outperform the 3.5" shells of 15 years ago. It will work better with lighter loads than the 3.5" guns do.
