Guest marylandbowman
i have a t/c encore and my friend has a omega. we both shot power belt and didnt have much luck at all!! switched to t/c shock wave and they did great. I didnt know if any body else had that problem!! the powerbelts loaded alot easier
AJ
Re: power belt bulllet good bad Yep, PB bullets load easily, but none of my guns like them. I have shot them in my Rem 700 ML, TC Encore, and Knight Disc Elite (x2), and I did not like the accuracy of any of them. I shot the 245 and 295 gr with no success. Other members like Too_Pointer have success getting them to shoot in their guns though.
Nick
Re: power belt bulllet good bad I have been shooting them through my Knight Revolution. I never tried any other bullets but didnt see no need to try any others with the groups the powerbelts were holding........I had 3 shot groups at 100 yards with all 3 bullet holes touching each other. WABS
Re: power belt bulllet good bad If I put in the range time with my Black Diamond I get 2 inch groups at 100 yards (open sights) using 295 gr powerbelts. That's as good as these eyes of mine will allow. Would go to a scope if MN allowed them during ML season.
rockefeller66
Re: power belt bulllet good bad We were told that many people used those powerbellets through their Encore so that is what we tried and we liked them.
Guest danewguy
Re: power belt bulllet good bad Three guys shot them in my hunting party this year, all using the omega and they had good accuracy with them. My only complaint is that out of the 6 deer shot with them only one had a pass through. The ranges were from 25-100 yds. I went to the Barnes 285 spitfire this year and I don't think that I will ever switch.. Awesome accuracy and bloodtrails that a blind man could follow... mehunter
Re: power belt bulllet good bad My Encore didn't like the powerbelts either. I now shoot the 250 grain Shockwaves, and the gun seems to ike them.

VTbowman
Re: power belt bulllet good bad I had simular esults as AJ did. I only had a Remington 700ML though. They were crap out of that gun and the T/C ShockWaves were excellent. (1" to 1.5" groups at 100 yards) I am now using the shockwaves in my Encore 15" ML pistol and like what I am seeing so far. Can't wait to put some glass on that baby... (scope)
