StillLearnin
Well I thought I had found a good deal on steel shot the other day. $5 for a box of winchester steel shot. Too bad when I got home I found out they were only 2 3/4" Okay so it's not that bad of a problem I just dont like shooting 2 3/4" shells for waterfowl Oh Well
Shaun_300
Re: Almost a good deal !! I can't believe how cheap ammo is in the states, I was shocked when I went to Gander Mountain in Duluth, MN over Christmas. Up here we can't even get LEAD for $5 a box. Lead runs about $6.99 a box and the cheapest steel shot we can find is $9-$11/box.
dogdoc
Re: Almost a good deal !! nothing wrong with 2 3/4" shells during the early season--seems during the early season you see more smaller ducks and they also seem to decoy better for closer shots. I'd like to find a good deal like that!
