BowJoe
Re: sharping bow skills ? Bent over rows. Place one knee on a bench and the same side hand on the bench as well, palm down. Place draw weight or slightly heavier dumbell in free hand and pull up, like you would be drawing a bow, until failure. Then switch. Do 3 sets of this with 10-15 min breaks in between sets. Move up in weight only after 3 weeks of 3-4 times per week. Another good exercise is to not only hold the dumbell straight out, but move around or walk in random lines while trying to keep your arm in the same position so as to focus on your stabilizer muscles. You will then be able to get on target much quicker, with more accuracy and stay on target much longer. Good luck.

Leo
Re: sharping bow skills ? In a safe place. Nock an arrow, clamp on your release. With the bow pointed at your target, draw back as slowly as possible. Maintain the bow on target the entire draw. At full draw count to 10 and Do not shoot. Let the bow back down as slowly as possible. Repeat 10times (no more than 2sec rest between draws) If you did it right you'll feel just like you shot 100arrows. As it gets easier try and slow down the motion even more and add a couple seconds to the hold time. Probably gonna be real sore after the first time you try this, so at first, skip every other day to recover.
