hangunnr
Shawn, You asked about a priming tool for your newly aquired Encore ML. I was in my local shop today and was given a new tool from T/C that looks to be the best yet. This thing holds 8 or 9 primers and works like a syringe. It works very well. You may want to give one a shot. They'll likely retail for $8-$10. hangunnr

VTbowman
Re: Hey GrnMtnMan and inline owners Do you pull the red cap off and plunger one out or does it go threw the red cap? Preacherman sent a nice T/C capper up to me. (Yhank you again Scott) Not the Dog Bone style, the "Z" style. I was surprized to feel it was flexable rubber. Thanks. LETMGROW
Re: Hey GrnMtnMan and inline owners More toys to try! You know when muzzleloaders started to become popular I bought 2 from a hardware store going out of business for $90.00 each. Then I bought a starter accessory kit for $15.00. I took the guns home loaded one of them up with loose powder, patched round ball and a no. 11 cap. It went bang and I was happy. I never killed a deer with one of these guns! I swear they were allergic to brown! Put a deer in front of one of these and all you got was a pop from the primer. This happened on more than one occasion. After the deer got tired of watching me and wandered off I could recap and the gun would shoot just fine! Now I have several In-line and break open muzzle loaders, more accessories than will fit into a large 4 drawer tackle box. All this to get one or two weeks from a special season. Most of this stuff is obsolete now but I still hang on to it. Part of the fun I am told! Any one else gone through this?
