Turkeygirl
Grizzly Man? It was on Discovery Friday night and it was...well....interesting and weird I thought, lol. It started out good and then the guy just went totally nuts. He spent WAY too much time out there. I like spending time alone in the woods and watching animals, because it is God's creation and I feel closer to God there, but this guy I think was a bit extreme. It's a shame the animal he "loved" got the better of him in the end but they are wild animals, something he must have thought he could overpower or something. Anyway if you saw this, what did you think?

huntinsonovagun
Re: Did anyone watch the movie... One less tree-hugging, PETA-loving, Kerry-voting idiot on this earth. He's right...he saved the bears alright....from starving. Sorry for the "I don't care" mentality, but he got what he deserved....

Turkeygirl
Re: Did anyone watch the movie... Yeah, they bleep out alot of the swearing he does in one part, but there wasn't anything graphic. The guy didn't have time to take the lens caps off his camera so it only recorded the sounds, but they didn't have that in the video because it was way to tragic I guess. Oneida, that is what I thought. I said to my mom animal rights activist for sure. He didn't help anyone I don't think, infact he harmed himself and the animals because the bears are going to look at humans a different way.... buckshot
Re: Did anyone watch the movie... My wife and I stayed up until 2am to watch it the other night.I agree with the others he was a nut but was amazed how he made friends with the foxes and he got some great bear footage.Kind of ironic how he worked so hard to protect these beast that he is kind of responsible for the death of the one that ended up killing him and his girlfriend. stevebeilgard
Re: Did anyone watch the movie... that guy was warned each year not to go camp there. grizzlies are not your buddies. it was just a matter of time. i know the story, as i followed him for years, and what he was doing. i'll bet they forgot to mention that because of him, two beautiful bears had to be killed. now, that's the real tragedy to me. they were just tree hugging morons. huntinsonovagun
Re: Did anyone watch the movie... You know, he said he would save the bears from the hunters, but in reality he would make it easier for hunters to kill the bears. In all the shows I have seen bears take off whenever they see/smell humans. He was walking right up to the bears. I know some "hunters" would take advantage of that and walk up to the now tame bears and cap them. I think the world is a better place without the guy, personally..... HarvDog
Re: Did anyone watch the movie... Yeah...I wasted my money and rented it. Ironic that the bears he insisted that we was protecting, not only ate him and his girlfriend but had to be killed. He was a weirdo anyway! Adjam5
Re: Did anyone watch the movie... Treadwell had a deathwish that was granted. The commercials killed the continuity of the show. Him getting close to the foxes was cool. But he could not understand why the wolves killed the foxes...DUH! competition for food...you dipstick. He was almost crying. The bear possibly could've considered him a threat to his food and or domain. I think Treadwell helped us hunters...How? After watching that show, Mr&Mrs America should have a good idea of what these animal rights nuts are all about. We could not do a better job of showing the world of how wacko these people really are.
