gowest
I currently shoot a Mathews SQ2 with the limb bolts set right down to the max. By the scale it pulls 73 lbs. The arrows I currently shoot (ACC 3-61's) are cut to 28.25" - shooting a Trophy Ridge Drop Zone. I use a 100 gr. Montec's; this set up flys like a dart. My question is this: I would like switch to the Gold Tip Pro Hunters - but at 28.25" aand 73# with 100 gr. head; it appears (from their chart) that this combination is right between two sizes: 5575 and 7595. Any thoughts or recommendations? Thanks. John <><
VermontHunter
Re: Recommendation [ QUOTE ] it appears (from their chart) that this combination is right between two sizes: 5575 and 7595. [/ QUOTE ] I would suggest if you are falling between these 2 shaft sizes I would go with the 7995's which will allow for a better shaft spine... of course this is MHO... buckee
Re: Recommendation I'd go with the 7595's too. When your right on the line line that, it's much better for the life of your bow, to step up to the next size. IMO

gowest
Re: Recommendation Thanks for the feedback - I think I'll go the little heavier route. With 2" Blazers, my current set up is right at 11.47% FOC; and this should be the same with the new GT's. All the best John <><
