buckbuster11
Re: Here we go again [ QUOTE ] Gee, that looks like a steelers helmet to me. And the ball was in his right hand not the left. I saw the same slo mo they played at the game. The ball was at his hip not his head. He didn't get the ball over. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, the ball is in his right hand right below his head and across the plane of the goal. You can seriously look at that picture and tell me the ball is at his hip? Anyways, lets just all calm down here fellas. Look, lets be realistic there isnt a big conspiracy, the refs arent out to fix games like everybody in here seems to think. They werent out to fix the Indy Steelers game, or the Super Bowl etc... Bad calls happen, especially when they are CLOSE CALLS. If a bunch of us in here cant agree on some of these calls with 100% certainty exactly what happened 4 days and 40 million replays later, then how you cant expect the refs to get it right every single time (especially when they are part time...but thats another rant)? Looking back were there some bad calls? YES. Are some of these things getting blown way out of proportion? Another YES. Its not worth ripping peoples heads off about it. The Steelers won the game, and the NFL isnt going to be asking them to hand back the Lombardi Trophy, so I guess everyone is just going to have to live with it. You are entitled to your opinion, but as I see it name calling is just plain childish! Its just that the game is over, nothing you or I can do about it. It was talked about enough but some just want to keep it going! It gets sickening hearing this all the time! Its time we all get over it! I dont want to see anybody get banned over something so stupid as this! Just so you know! This is a great place to come too, and a lot of good people in here!
