Turkey plot

Re: Turkey plot

i've never planted chufa but I've heard it is a turkey magnet. You plant it one year for the next--it takes a year to mature and provide enough tubors for the birds. I always include some seed producing plants such as millet and milo for the turkeys. However---I've come to believe that nothing attracts turkeys like clover. Not only do the feed on the actual clover plants but all the insects that the clover attracts.

good luck
