mule659
I am just wondering what kind of trips anyone has planned for 2006. I am going to the milk river in montana this september for a hunt with milk river outfitters. I can wait from all I've seen and heard it should be an awesome trip. Rhino
Re: anyone planning trips for 2006 I will be on the road a lot more than usual this coming fall. I plan on making an Illinois, Missouri, and Iowa bowhunt this year. Illinois and Missouri will be guided and Iowa is a do it myself hunt. I have enough preference points now for Iowa where I'm almost guaranteed a tag. I doubt I draw a Kansas tag this year because I only have 1 preference point there. This coming fall looks like its shapping up to be a lot of fun.

jbeck
Re: anyone planning trips for 2006 I have a feeling that right around prime rut, I will be in China again. It looks like the adoptions are going through in about 10 to 11 months. last time with Carlee I was in guangho China on the first day of rifle season. So my trips will have nothing to do with hunting this year.
bwlacy
Re: anyone planning trips for 2006 Have a guide booked in Iowa if we draw tags this year. If not then maybe a Colorado do it yourself or drop camp elk hunt. Gotta love over the counter tags there.

Guest tyshe17
Re: anyone planning trips for 2006 going to be going back to the Grisby (central illinois). On the way back, we have one farm to check out. If it looks like it is worth $400+ to hunt (thoes tags are expensive) then I should be up there a couple of long weekends next year. Never too early to plan I guess.
