VTbowman
Re: TC Encore Pistol? I do not think you can find one complete on the market any longer. Not sure though. Your best bet would be start on the T/C Arms web site and ask them for a dealer. They list the barrels on thier site but not entire gun packages. But for example I have seen new parts here and there while cruising the web. I know that the best price on an Encore frame was around $275 (new), the 15" 209x50 ML barrel I have seen for $265 new (T/C Custom Shop), grip about $45 and the same for the forend (new). They aint cheap. To put one together with brand new parts would be around $600. What most guys do is start with some caliber and then acquire the ML barrel off Ebay or used somewhere. I swear you will see every other week it seems. Good Luck
IowaDeerHunter
Re: TC Encore Pistol? So the frame doesn't include the grip and forearm then? Any good places to get used parts, like the frame/barrel? How far can the muzzleloader shoot, accurately? Thanks
IowaDeerHunter
Re: TC Encore Pistol? This website says that no frame comes without a forend or grip, and they sell for 294. Doesn't seem like to bad of a price.
VTbowman
Re: TC Encore Pistol? Most place do not sell the frame and grip/forend as one. Some do and yes thats a good price for all 3. I have been told that a pistol ML can be accurtae out to 100 yards+. I have yet to get mine on the bench with the winter weather up here. Places to find used items are Ebay, which you can also check for Buy Now vendors. $200 to $250 for a new barrel is about the norm on Ebay. Two forums I go to are www.handgunhunt.com and http://specialtypistols.infopop.cc/groupee (you need to sign up for this one) and they both have a free classified room. IowaDeerHunter
Re: TC Encore Pistol? I think it would be a lot more fun and exciting to shoot the encore pistol. But it might just be easier to get the encore rifle. Mydad would rather me get the rifle anyways.
hangunnr
Re: TC Encore Pistol? I'll tell ya, if you have thoughts of wanting to shoot the Encore in a pistol format go ahead and buy the frame as a handgun. You then can put a rifle or ML barrel on it without any problem. If you purchase the Encore in long gun form it would then be illegal to convert it to a handgun. I know it might be a little more expensive buying the components seperately but it would be much more versatile that way. hangunnr

elnor
Re: TC Encore Pistol? [ QUOTE ] If you want to be particular, or save a few bucks, just buy the frame you want and check out eabco.com or edstc.com for new barrels. [/ QUOTE ] eabco.com is a great site, thanks for suggesting it. I tried edstc.com but received a "site under construction" message...might there be a different URL for it? elnor
Re: TC Encore Pistol? I clicked your link and it worked, then I figured it out: http://edstc.com gives the "under construction" error, but http://www.edstc.com works fine (Ed needs to have both setup to work correctly). Anyway, I'll bookmark with the leading "www", thanks.
