VermontHunter
Has anyone in here tried this sight ??? ( HiViz TriViz Turkey Sight ) My shotgun still has the factory bead setup,, and would like the advantages of being able to sight my shotgun in for patterning..... I know most of you use the Red-Dot Scope system,,, but I hate the idea of spending over a $100 on a sight system....that I would only get to use a few days out of the season.. tp793
Re: HiViz TriViz Turkey Sight I have never tried it, but my red dot system was well under $100. I think it was around $60-$70...just a thought..

I would definately love the RED DOT System but man I've spent a ton of money already...

HeviShot
Re: HiViz TriViz Turkey Sight I use a Tri -Viz for a bead sight. The only reason I got them is because they were reduced 2 packs for 5 dollars.I like them.
elnor
Re: HiViz TriViz Turkey Sight I recently looked at both HiViz and TruGlo sights and decided on the TruGlo TRU-Point Turkey Sight. IMO, the HiViz sight had too high a profile (obscured too much immediately surrounding the target plus I was afraid I might snag it on a branch or vine in the thick areas I hunt). I've greatly enjoyed the TruGlo sight during some patterning sessions. Whatever you decide I would recommend trying some kind of fiber optic sights, they really make aiming my Rem 11-87 Win Xtended Range loads easier. Rhino
Re: HiViz TriViz Turkey Sight Luke, As far as I'm concerned anything that improves your sight picture over and above the bead set up is good. Even better with adjustable sights for obvious reasons. The more you can see of the head and neck of a turkey, the better.
VermontHunter
Re: HiViz TriViz Turkey Sight Rhino,, Im definately going with an adjustable rear sight,, after watching the Primo's DVD on shotgun setups,, I didn't realize how bad a center shot could be on a shotgun... I appreciate all of the help and opinions guys, it will go a long ways into my shotgun setup...
tp793
Re: HiViz TriViz Turkey Sight My red dot was actually put on free of charge and the mounting kit put it right around $90-$100..
magnatecsteve
Re: HiViz TriViz Turkey Sight Only thing with the Tri-Viz, I still wanted a pin-point sightins system..I went with the red-dot.
