smallmunster
Re: NEED SOME INFO-PLEEEEASE! How much do you have to spend? If at all possible I would recommend digital. I've heard good things about the leaf river but don't have one, there are also some guys out there that build some pretty good ones as well. They will save you money in film and processing if you are going to use it a lot.
puffy
Re: NEED SOME INFO-PLEEEEASE! Sorry I posted this in the wrong area guys , my mistake. I have about $300 Canadian to spend and would like a digital if possible. The digital format is cost effective or so I understand. Who do you know that makes their own? Thanks for the reply ...............................HUNT SMART-EAT WELL
RangerClay
Re: NEED SOME INFO-PLEEEEASE! My cousin is not happy with his digital Stealth Cam. Batteries only last a couple days plus other problems. I asked this question a while back and most recommended the Leaf River. My neighbor has a Cuddeback and I like that one. The Cuddeback is pricey but I like the anti-codes. Ranger
NY911Bowhunter
Re: NEED SOME INFO-PLEEEEASE! Correct - for Digi - avoid Stealthcams!!! Go with either Cudeback or the Leaf River....... 35 MM, hard to beat the Stealthcam
smallmunster
Re: NEED SOME INFO-PLEEEEASE! There is a gentleman that goes by the name of v-man on iowawhitetail.com and he makes and sells cams. I have not bought one from him nor do I know him personally, but I have heard many good things about his cams. His email is [email protected] if you are interested. puffy
Re: NEED SOME INFO-PLEEEEASE! Thanks for the information guys! I really appreciate it. I think I might start with a 35mm first and see if I like it. The digitals are still a little price crazy. ....................................HUNT SMART-EAT WELL
wtnhunt
Re: NEED SOME INFO-PLEEEEASE! I would suggest getting the digital really. The 35 mm stealth cams are a lot of fun, but if you use it in a high traffic area you will end up in a situation like us where you have spent more on film and processing in a year than it would have cost to just go with the digital. Really wish we had waited and gotten a digital rather than going with the film stealth cam.
