I will say some of the games of late--both winter and summer, are ridiculous; more in the summer than the winter. That ribbon and ball thing they do in gymnastics is a joke IMHO. I've skied with several nordic skiing olympians, and know some of the people still involved in the sport. One guy I've skied with is doing the color comentary for the biathlon in this year's games. Many of my generation of nordic skiers are now working behind the scenes at these major events, but it's still fuin to see them being active in the sport. [/ QUOTE ] Curling (kind of "shuffleboard on ice") The sister of one of my High School classmates was on a US Junior National Woman's Championship team 15 years ago.
