muggs
Re: Open Letter From Jimmy Houston [ QUOTE ] Would have liked to see some remorse and accountability. Just can't respect anyone who he won't take responsibility for his actions. I'm not in PETA and it ****es me off when Jimmy Houston lumps me in with them because I voice my opinion against what he did. [/ QUOTE ] This is a great way to look at it, short to the point...and right on the money.
elkoholic
Re: Open Letter From Jimmy Houston Guess I will chime in on this one. The video says it all and his apology letter has more holes than a sieve. If he had any ethics at all, and at his age he should be past the childhood stage, he would not have been where he was and would not have shot the deer under those circumstances. Ah...the stench of getting caught. Let him take responsibility for his actions/choices and accept the consequences. Even if what occurred was legal, it was not fair chase hunting and anyone who would hunt this way should not be representing hunters. wtnhunt
Re: Open Letter From Jimmy Houston [ QUOTE ] I don't have a hunting show or a huge income from the hunting industry and I wouldn't have and won't hunt a high fence property. It looks to me like Jimmy is trying to cover his rear..... [/ QUOTE ] Yep. If you or I or anyone else went to hunt this place wouldnt we want to know a little about the place? How could you hunt a place and not ask these types of questions like how much area and is it fenced or high fenced? He is just trying to cover his rear imo.
