hutchies
Re: dirt bike riders Sounds like it is getting to much fuel in the top 1/3 of the throttle. Normally it will either be the float in the carb is stuck and letting in too much gas or you need to drop down the needle position. Many toys over the years........... MUDRUNNER
Re: dirt bike riders I'm getting a 04 YZ125 in a week or two(after my tax refund).I can't wait to go riding with my buds again. Sounds like a carb problem to me.I hate messing with them.It might just need cleaned out real good.I would just get a can of carb cleaner and take the lines off and douse it real good. You could check your lines too and make sure nothing is obstructing them.I've seen fuel line actually get sucked shut and prevent gas from getting to the carb at full throttle when the carb is sucking in as much air as it can get. Don't know if I'm much help, but it's a cheap place to start looking for the problem if nothing else.
hutchies
Re: dirt bike riders Also I forgot if you have an inline fuel filter replace it first. It might be just clogged.
Mirage
Re: dirt bike riders sounds like primamry jet is restricted time to take that carb off and cleaner out, if the fuel dosnt spray out like a fine mist in the carb to the engine as designed it has a hard time trying to burn the fuel as a liquid it needs to attomize with the air coming in
