Re: your best game

My best game ever was a peewee hockey game.We went to Boston. It was shortly after my brothers death. To say the least I was still pretty screwed up....anyway the first 3 games I did not play that well, the morning of our last game I told my Dad I was going to win the MVP for Chris....I went out and got a shut out and won MVP! That was 28 years ago...and I still have the trophy.

Re: your best game

Last year in State semi finals I threw a complete game shut-out on 2 hits and 9ks vs Shelby Co. We lost the series 3-2. I also went 2-3 from the plate with 2 doubles and 4 rbi. I was unconcious, once in a lifetime game, and that was my soph. year.

Re: your best game

I was in 8th grade playing 7th and 8th grade football. We were in the "Super Bowl" against a team that had beat us once and we had beat them once in the season. The score was 0-0 at the end of four quarters. To make a long story short we played 7 overtimes! I threw for 3 touchdowns and ran for 3 touchdowns and two 2-point conversions. We won the game 56-48. I also had one interception, two sacks, and a fumble recovery.

Re: your best game

Senior year in high school. I had 3 sacks, one fumble recovery, 1 interception. I got player of the week for that one.

In college, one game I scored 2 or 3 touchdowns, 1 or 2 extra points. One of the touches was like a 60 yard TD pass I think. That was intramural though, don't know if that counts. grin.gif

Glory days. cool.gif

Re: your best game

I scored 40 points against our cross town rivals who had beaten us 3 straight before that game, we won and went on to get 2nd at state! I averaged 27.3 points that season, 1 year before they introduced 3 pointers in to Texas High School Basketball, that probably would have raised my average another 3 0r 4 points per game. My all-time high was 45.

Re: your best game

My best "game" was the United Kingdom 3D Champs in the southwest part of england. They use our 8-ring as the kill for max points. The course was hard with many 40-60 yard shots up and down hills. On 36 targets, I got one American "5" (16 points for them) and the rest were kills for max points of 20. I smoked the brits so bad on day one, they changed the scoring for the next day by using our 10-ring as the "kill" (20 points). It didn't matter, I nailed 24 of 36 and the rest were in the 8-ring.

Re: your best game

My best game as a coach was a home game in AA PeeWee-we were getting whipped 9-3 going into the third-I gave my between period 'talk' and it must work because we scored 11 times in the third and won 14-10-it was the coolest feeling on the bench watching the boys take their game back. My most menorable moment at least the one my teammates still talk about was when i laid out a big headhunting d-man on the forecheck and then ran down his back with my skates to get the puck-he was 6 inches taller and about 40 lbs heavier than me so it kind of turned the momentum around for us.
